Any advice for a first-time traveler to Thailand?

This is really long-range planning, but we're going to Thailand next winter and have already booked a few hotels. We'll be there for almost a month, so we'll have time to get off the beaten track. So far we plan on seeing Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Krabi. What else should we not miss?

You might want to do a “cup check” first.
That is, unless you are okay being with “chicks with d***ks”. Lol.
