Coronavirus: American Airlines passenger removed for not wearing mask

18 June 2020

American Airlines has removed a passenger from a flight after he refused to wear a face covering in compliance with its Covid-19 safety policy.

Brandon Straka was asked to wear a face mask on Flight 1263 from New York to Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday.

When Mr Straka refused, he was asked to leave the flight, the airline said.

Mr Straka said there was no law that required him to wear a face covering on the flight.

"I was just removed from my flight for not wearing a mask. 1st time this has happened. Not a federal law," Mr Straka tweeted from New York's LaGuardia Airport.

American Airlines said it had banned Mr Straka until "face coverings are no longer required for customers".

And it was the right thing to protect all the passengers on the flight from this self-righteous buffoon.

On edit... looking at his twitter feed, he looks like a pouty rightwing troll desperate for attention. He's getting slapped silly by science.

What really bugs me about this is some of us, probably a bunch, wont live to see justice.

The virus that putin and rump are using to kill us, is working.

but most airlines will kick you off the airplane if you show up without them. And you'll have a tough time convincing them that it's OK to spend a couple of hours sitting there shedding pubes and grossing out the other passengers. The other people on that plane don't want your pubes and they don't want your viruses, either.
