1. Atheist – No belief in god

2. Atheist – Lack of belief in god

3. Atheist – We don’t know how the universe began, but we’re really sure it wasn’t that guy

4. Atheist – Far more interested in glorifying life than glorifying death.

1. 1 & 2 are almost uniqely Atheistic.

The rest are mostly not exclusive domain of atheism.

#3 most religions feel about other religions.
#4 is actually a very common religious sentiment.

I wouldn't call most of this list a 'definitions of atheist', and most of them weren't offered as such by the source. Certainly not what Tyson was talking about in 22. He was addressing a particular appeal to incredulity, not attempting to define atheism.

2. I don't think this article is entirely serious.

My take away was that there are as many definitions as there are atheists to a large degree, even though some adamantly insist that their definition is the only valid one.

Kind of like religious people.
