by Josh Feldman | 7:05 pm, August 27th, 2015
Glenn Beck has a hard time buying that Donald Trump is a sincere man of faith after listening to what hes publicly said about his religious beliefs.
The kicker for Beck today was Trump being asked about the Bible on Bloomberg yesterday. Mark Halperin asked him to name his favorite Bible verses, and Trump said its personal, so he doesnt want to get into it.
When asked whether hes more an Old Testament guy or New Testament, Trump said, Probably equal. I think its just incredible, the whole Bible is incredible.
Beck today found that to be just so insincere, saying, You cant be Mr. Straight Shooter and come out and do this.

(28,394 posts)IMO, this religious angle is something to lure the Christian conservatives. I have no idea about his upbringing, but the way he can't answer those questions is suspect.

Thanks for the not-alone support!

Did Trump lose any support because of his answer about the Bible? I doubt he will.

(88 posts)But for a guy that believes in magic gold tablets and magic underwear...to question the sincerity of another persons religion or belief is kind of...well, unbelievable.
Beck is a bozo.
But, then so is Trumpet.

(468 posts)Liberal podcasters and internet commentators have noted how insincere Trump appeared in that interview. The general running theme is that it is so obvious even the most deluded fundies will notice and probably be turned off.
