Related: About this forumWhen my GM had an audience with the Pope
My grandmother was a Catholic, and Polish, so you can guess how she felt about Pope JP2.
One day she was walking down the street and was annoyed at the crowd that was milling about. She had no idea what was going on as she elbowed her way through.
She was a tiny old lady, so the people gave way out of courtesy. When she broke through, she found herself face to face with the Pope.
Words were said, but she had no recollection of them as the wonder of the encounter filled her with awe. You could see her glow every time she recounted the story.
I post this, not to make any point, but just to contrast this with Kim Davis.
