Still A Muslim Ban, Faith Groups Say

From the article:

A wide spectrum of religious organizations and leaders came forward on Monday to denounce President Donald Trump’s revised executive order on immigration...........

Faith-based organizations representing Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, and other interfaith activists responded to the new order on Monday ― with many saying that the order was still a Muslim ban in disguise.

While we get caught up in whether this is a "Muslim ban" I think there are more important questions to ask. Why aren't we banning anyone from the country that gave us nearly all of the 9/11 hijackers (and their financial backers)? That's the question even the most ardent Trump supporter is going to struggle with.

By focusing on this being a "Muslim ban" we are falling for the same "look over there" trick that Trump has used since he started campaigning.

If only there was a liberal media that could point these things out and make the connections.

you might find attacking its blatant hypocrisy to be more effective at reaching those who are in favor of it.

They are less likely to be swayed by claims of discrimination.
