What should religion do in fast-changing society?

Change always happens, but change can be highly inconvenient and strange for many of us. The world has always been changing, but many of us are concerned with the speed of change in recent years, which they feel was highly rapid.

Many point out that though religion as we know it might change, it is not going away.

Some indicate that with changing social norms, we should interpret scriptures in the new light; while others stress that scriptures, being divine, should not be re-interpreted.

That "religion":

(a) Respect other religions
(b) Respect the non-religious

ANY fundamentalist, "we are the only way" ideology, political or religious, is doomed to eventual failure.

My Father was a minister -- so I experienced plenty of religion. For those who draw positive things from it, good for you -- go in peace. Extend to me equal courtesy.
