One, the title, is prefatory, or introductory.

The other is a statement that, if read as your premise, shows you to be a theist.

So if you are a theist, you are of course free to believe as you feel is best. If you are not a theist, anyone who believes in another form of a deity is also, of course, free to believe as he/she feels is best.
