(49,533 posts)Please do the decent thing and apologize to Cartoonist for your snide remark.
It would be the "Christian" thing to do, wouldn't it?
Unless your religion doesn't actually mean anything to you...

(42,641 posts)It was an observation about confusing a philosophical concept and an object. Unless the object is meant to stand for all of Christianity.
SO what do you feel was Cartoonist's intent?
trotsky
(49,533 posts)Just because you didn't find it funny is no reason to imply he's stupid.
You should apologize. If you think that's the "Christian" thing to do, I guess. Perhaps your definition of being a Christian doesn't mean you should be nice to others.

(49,533 posts)And you're doing a fantastic job in this "religion-hating" atheist's opinion!

(13,061 posts)Perhaps you should restart your campaign against me. I was so wrong.
What is a Hymnal? Are you saying a hymnal has nothing to do with religion? What's wrong with you?

(7,317 posts)Dude, I am so done with you.
trotsky
(49,533 posts)I guess he's just responding in kind. Since you say that's why you do the things you do, it must be OK.
Wait... unless it's only OK for *you* to behave like that, but no one else. Is that the case?
guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)It was not I who did it. And given the other such "humorous" posts by the same individual, can one infer a pattern?
trotsky
(49,533 posts)You didn't? Perhaps Cartoonist should be punished for blasphemy - would that please you?
guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)Why do you insist on always going far beyond what I actually say? Is this an example of projection, or curiosity on your part?
I find this tendency to be interesting.
trotsky
(49,533 posts)I see that you do not deny wanting to punish Cartoonist for blasphemy. I find that quite interesting.

(14,858 posts)Better to just assign random definitions to words, apparently with the intent to deceive.
Or, as I hypothesized on another thread, it's possible that Gil just doesn't understand written English all that well. That would explain why he consistently misunderstands and misrepresents the posts of others, and why his own posts make little or no sense in the context of the discussions taking place. Maybe he would benefit from ESL classes.
