To hate them, abandon them, abandon families, to follow him.
This line was in part about 1) young men leaving their families, giving up on families,.wives, of their own, to become priests.
This very severe line was slightly modified in parts of the Bible. To suggest that 2) the community of believers was supposed to be regarded as your real family.
But in either case, Jesus was all about abandoning families. Though right wing evangelical organizations like " Focus on the Family" tried to obscure that.
To be sure, it's hard for Christians to face this side of Jesus; the biblical command to, quote, " hate" your family is known to theologians as one of Jesus's "dark" or "hard" sayings.
It's one of many, many dark things in the Bible, in Jesus, in priests, that most Christians don't face.
A very few DO more or less face it:

But they sugar-coat it.
It may be that the radical breaking of natural, traditional families, by priestly Christianity, the establishment of all-male communities of priests, is partly responsible for the pederastical priesthood.
Particularly concerning: language specialists tell us that the command, in some bibles, to, quote, "hate," is correctly translated. Which means that underneath all the ostensible "love" in the priesthood,.in Jesus, is a secret, deep,.abiding malice, and hate.
Catholics seeking family guidance from the Churach therefore, seems misguided and deluded.

(970 posts)In part by dissolving,.assaulting rival, literal families.
Priests seek to dissolve rival units like families. 1) By physical attacks, assaults. And 2) by suggesting they are only relative metaphors. Analogies. For their own, allegedly more real gang, family: the Church. For their own Father and Mother. Who they assert are alone real, and powerful. And to be obeyed. Even if they assault you.
At times the church hides under a sheep's hide.
And suggests it is only a metaphorical, "spirtual" power only. But often the Church lead real armies. And it promises a very real material power, "kingdom," here in earth. ( In say, Revelation.)
So its spirituality and metaphoricalism is only diversion or cloak. For its very real power grab. In dominionism and patronizing pederasty.

This isn't a time for "some" sadness. This is a time to hold their leadership accountable.

The Church itself is the foretold wolf in sheep's clothing.. Always pretending a merely metaphorical or spiritual ambition. But always waiting for the chance to grab real power over everyone.
