Am I taking a new tone in the Religion Group?

Why, yes, I am. I'm weary of coddling and excusing. I'll do it no more. I'll ask hard questions. I'll speak my mind. I'll try to be polite about it, though. But, my tone is changing. I have too little time, just a few years, to maintain old patterns.

I'm a grumpy old geezer. Time to let my geezer flag fly, I guess.

Some apparently take that for not caring. I was still pointing out stuff. I will be doing that in a more pointed fashion hereafter.

I don't post all that much in the Religion group, but I read just about everything. I'll enjoy seeing how your tone affects conversations.

And not all old patterns are good ones.

Bring it! Reference some more out-of-context old posts, while you're at it. Who knows? Maybe some of your off-site friends can help you find things. You can bring those, too.

And longstanding patterns of behavior can reveal much.
