What Would Jesus Do? 7 Things From A Muslim's Perspective

From the article:

#7: Tell TV Evangelicals and the mega churches to stop commercializing his name- just the same way he did to the money-making machines of his times. He may even look for the modern moneychangers and overthrow their tables- literally. He might tell them, “if you want to honor me, go out and serve the needy and the poor”, rather than living a lavish lifestyle of a Hollywood star or a sports celebrity.

I think he left the planet. It's amazing that people are still trying to figure out how to behave, don't you think?

Only one element in the article at the link is needed:

"‘Love your neighbor as yourself."

The rest is too specific to a single belief system.

Reciprocity is all of the law that should be needed, and it's stated in every religious and non-religious code of proper behavior.

Teach that and follow that, and there will be no need for deities that are not present today and never were.

Common sense, really.

Common sense is quite uncommon, really. That's the cause of many ills of society.

More's the pity. Still, the principle of reciprocity, if thought about before taking any action, would eliminate most of those ills. That's what Jesus supposedly said, along with almost every other philosopher and man-made deity who was used to present common-sense rules.

Reciprocity as an ethical guide is almost universally stated.
