Keep in mind certain activities are always under committee review. Last week we had a case a couple blocks over where an elderly lady was smited when she was observed watering her flower garden. The person assumed she was working but upon further review this may fall under leisure time as it used to be her hobby. The big man's got to figure that one out now

Are you saying we should give people a heads up on Saturday so they have their smiting equipment ready on Sunday morning? I usually just grab the sledgehammer and a tree pruner I've got sitting in the garage

The big man is getting upset with people not actually following their holy book. I'm head of the smite committee for Plano TX and just doing my part to get the word out.

What are you still doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be making some rounds or do you have the afternoon/evening shift? I have to be online as I'm monitoring activities and questions as they come in. For example, Jason over in West Plano just caught some kids digging in a side yard. I had to emergency stop his smite and explain again, they were just playing, not REALLY digging a post hole.

Not long after I posted this thread someone called in a construction site down off Parker and the North Dallas Tollway where they had a whole crew of construction workers slaving away. There were around 40-50 folks there..

Loki came out to help and ended up going totally medieval on their asses. It was one hell of a site to see 25 minutes later....

21. I have a good friend who keeps the Jewish Sabbath.

He does this despite owning a business who's most busy day of the week is Saturday.

It means something to him. Its very important to him.

He doesn't talk about it, he just does it. If you want to get together on Saturday, he will be available after sundown.

He also keeps kosher, but, again, in a private and non-intrusive way.

I have a great deal of respect for this. I don't always get it, but I see that it is meaningful to him.

It would never occur to me to mock him.
