Does the award for the greatest evil go to Satan or God?

Does the award for the greatest evil go to Satan or God?

Many blame Satan for the evils of this world even as his power to deceive all of us comes from God.

As the creator of Satan, many think that God deserves the blame as he knew what Satan would be because God knows everything in advance.

What is the greatest evil you can think of and who do you think is to blame for it?

Who is the greatest sinner, Satan or God?

I lean toward God as scriptures name him the Alpha and Omega which to me means the best and the worse. Also, scriptures have God saying not to place any other above him and I would be going against this by placing Satan above him in the category of the most evil. I do not want to break the first commandment.

Do you dare by putting Satan above God?

If he's a landlord for some greater power, he's just dealing with the mess. If he created the mess, then all of us are reflections of him (artist's work reflecting him).

You're not the first to wrestle with this, by far.

Because they seem to have missed your point that if the parent is all knowing and all seeing, but they create children that aren't, God most certainly IS responsible.

because even if there is a God and a Satan, humans committed the evil acts.

Humans killed a million in Laos in the killing fields, twenty million in Nazi Germany, 800,000 in Rwanda, created an apartheid state with the American Indians and elsewhere, humans make child soldiers, kidnap children and force them into prostitution, set up factories where children are worked to death, and I've not even Delta with the various reported humanitarian violations reported in religious texts.

Humans did these things and more. They just use God, or Satan, to justify what they did.
