Seems like their high school textbooks all told them that those gods were only "myths"
So my Christian friends were mostly 99% or more atheists

(13,029 posts)To be an "atheist" means that you don't believe in any gods. If you believe in at least one, but not others, than you're not an a-theist at all. You can be a non-believer with regard to specific, individual gods, but I don't think "atheist" is the best term to apply on a god-by-god basis.
