It'd be like invoking an LSD trip in ones post.

Just kidding, of course. As others have implied, lighting a candle is also an apt metaphor for the Enlightenment and has been a symbol of skeptics for years.

That it also serves as a religious symbol, Jesus as the light of the Earth may be coincidental. Regardless, it works either way.

I don't personally wish to embrace religion, but there are many here who do. Okee fine. Just keep it to yourself except for respectful discussion and we'll be fine.

That way we can all enjoy the candle equally. Always a good thing.
