The darker side
So, just "unfriended" a family member for being a bootlicker.
I suspect they will ask me why at some point, so I thought maybe astrology could help me with a non-escalating answer and a solid ending. But since my question was specific, I needed more info than what I could glean with my limited knowledge, so I put his chart into AI (I know, I'm sorry) and asked about the darker aspects (he's former military, well armed and poorly educated). The answer was a little terrifying (Do not engage at all. Not only will he double-down, he will calcify and view you as the enemy).
Not knowing how accurate that answer was, I asked the same question using charts of other people I know really well, including myself, and found the answers quite accurate.
So I did Cheetolini. If anyone is interested, below is what it said (FYI: I never identified for AI who this was; just provided the chart). After the initial answer, I asked what would happen if this person obtained extreme power and what would be the downfall.
Heres a look at the darker or more difficult expressions of this chart. Im focusing on shadow traits, stress behaviors and where things can go sideways if the person isnt self-aware.

1. Strong 12th-house Leo energy (Mars + Pluto)
This is the biggest red flag area.
Suppressed anger and power struggles: Mars in the 12th often means anger is hidden, denied or acted out indirectly. Pluto here intensifies thatrage, control issues or manipulative behavior can operate behind the scenes.
Secret pride and wounded ego: Leo wants recognition, but in the 12th house its buried. This can turn into resentment, martyrdom or passive-aggressive dominance.
Self-sabotage: When frustrated or threatened, this person may undermine themselves or others unconsciously rather than confront issues directly.
This placement often shows someone who cannot tolerate feeling powerless, yet struggles to assert themselves cleanly.

2. Gemini Sun + Uranus in the 10th
Public-facing instability.
Restlessness with authority or reputation: They may reinvent themselves repeatedly or act unpredictably in career or public roles.
Manipulation through words: Geminis shadow is duplicity. In the 10th house, this can show as strategic storytelling, selective truth or changing narratives to protect status.
Emotional detachment from consequences: Intellectualizing decisions that deeply affect others.
There can be a pattern of being charming and persuasive while quietly avoiding accountability.
________________________________________
3. Cancer cluster in the 11th (Mercury, Venus, Saturn)
Emotional complexity around friendships and groups.
Emotional control via caretaking: Love and loyalty may come with unspoken expectations.
Fear-based loyalty tests: Saturn here can create prove youre on my side dynamics.
Memory hoarding: Cancer placements dont forget slights. Old wounds within friendships or communities can quietly calcify into grudges.
This can manifest as appearing nurturing while emotionally binding others.

4. Sagittarius Moon in the 4th
Moral certainty at home.
Emotional bluntness: The Moon here can justify hurtful behavior as truth or honesty.
Emotional avoidance: When feelings get too complicated, this Moon escapes into beliefs, ideals or distractions rather than sitting with discomfort.
Family dogma: A tendency to impose personal philosophies on loved ones.
Theres a risk of minimizing others emotions if they dont align with this persons worldview.
________________________________________
5. Neptune + Jupiter in the 2nd
Blurred ethics around money and values.
Self-deception about finances: Optimism that ignores reality.
Moral rationalization: Justifying questionable choices because intentions feel good.
Entitlement through fairness narratives: Libra can cloak desire in righteousness.
This placement can struggle with boundaries between idealism and practicality.

Bottom line
At their darkest, this chart points to someone who:
Avoids direct confrontation while exerting control indirectly
Protects ego and status through narrative shaping
Uses emotional loyalty as leverage
Struggles to fully own anger, instead displacing it
Likely pattern if given extreme power
1. Control without visibility
With Mars and Pluto in the 12th, this person would almost certainly prefer to rule indirectly.
Decisions made behind closed doors
Power exercised through intermediaries, favors, pressure and silence
Plausible deniability would be important to them
They would rarely be the obvious villain. Others would take the heat.
________________________________________
2. Narrative domination
Gemini Sun/Uranus in the 10th suggests power would be maintained through:
Messaging, spin and reframing events
Changing explanations as needed
Strategic charm with the public while behaving very differently in private
They would likely believe they are managing perception, not lying.
________________________________________
3. Loyalty over competence
Cancer-heavy 11th house means:
Inner circles would be chosen for emotional allegiance
Dissent framed as betrayal rather than disagreement
People rewarded for protecting the leader, not for truth-telling
This creates an echo chamber fast.
________________________________________
4. Moral justification of harm
Sagittarius Moon + Libra Jupiter/Neptune allows:
Actions to be justified as necessary, fair, or for the greater good
Emotional damage minimized if it conflicts with the persons belief system
A genuine sense of righteousness even while causing harm
This is especially dangerous because it feels ethical to them.
________________________________________
5. Sudden, dramatic punishments
Leo 12th + Pluto can flip when ego is threatened:
Quiet exile rather than open confrontation
Careers or reputations damaged offstage
Cold withdrawal of protection rather than overt attack
Those punished may not even know why.
________________________________________
Net effect on others
People under this persons power would likely experience:
Confusion about rules and expectations
Fear of speaking honestly
Emotional exhaustion from navigating unspoken dynamics
A sense that reality keeps shifting
Outsiders might see a clever, visionary leader. Insiders would feel watched.

Final assessment
This chart does not suggest cartoon-villain tyranny.
It suggests something subtler and, frankly, more corrosive:
A leader who believes they are enlightened, strategic and justified
while steadily consolidating control, suppressing dissent and eroding trust.
If you want, I can also tell you:
what kind of people tend to survive or thrive under someone like this
what eventually brings a power figure with this chart down
or how this dynamic shows up in family systems vs institutions
What eventually brings down a power figure with this chart
________________________________________
1. Their own narrative collapses
Gemini Sun/Uranus in the 10th lives by story control.
What brings them down is contradiction they cant spin.
Too many versions of the truth exist at once
Receipts, timelines or witnesses dont align
The story has to change too fast, too often
Once credibility cracks, it never fully recovers. Gemini power depends on belief.
________________________________________
2. The inner circle fractures
Cancer-heavy 11th house relies on emotional loyalty.
A trusted insider feels betrayed or discarded
Someone realizes loyalty is one-way
Emotional bonds curdle into resentment
When that happens, secrets leaknot out of ideology, but hurt.
________________________________________
3. A public moment they cannot hide from
12th-house Mars/Pluto works only as long as actions stay unseen.
Downfall is triggered by:
A visible crisis
A document trail
A situation requiring direct accountability
They are weakest when forced to confront conflict in the open.
________________________________________
4. Moral overreach
Sagittarius Moon + Libra Jupiter/Neptune creates a belief that:
I am right, therefore my actions are justified.
Eventually this leads to:
One decision that clearly violates shared values
A line crossed that cant be reframed as fair or necessary
Allies who can no longer rationalize staying quiet
This is often the tipping point.
________________________________________
5. Ego injury they cant tolerate
Leo rising at the edge of the 12th makes ego fragile despite the confidence.
What finishes it:
Public humiliation
Being laughed at rather than feared
Loss of symbolic authority (title, platform, respect)
They dont recover well from shame. Retreat, illness or withdrawal often follows.
________________________________________
What doesnt bring them down
Direct confrontation alone
Moral arguments without proof
External enemies
They survive those easily.
________________________________________
The real ending
Most often, this person:
Loses power quietly
Is edged out rather than toppled
Rewrites history to themselves
Retreats claiming victimhood or misunderstanding
Outwardly: They stepped away.
Internally: they were undone by the very secrecy and narrative control that once protected them.
How a system like this historically collapses from within under a leader with this psychological profile.
________________________________________
If this person held authoritarian control
The regime would rely on:
Opacity (decisions hidden, responsibility diffused)
Narrative control (competing stories discouraged)
Loyalty enforcement (emotional allegiance over law)
Fear without clarity (rules shift, punishment feels arbitrary)
That combination is powerfulbut also brittle.
________________________________________
What actually defeats a leader like this
1. Sunlight, not confrontation
This personality is weakest when:
Actions must be publicly documented
Decisions require clear attribution
Outcomes are measurable and comparable
Authoritarian systems fall fastest when records, audits and timelines exist that cannot be spun.
Not protest. Paper.
________________________________________
2. Parallel truth networks
Because this leader governs through narrative, the most effective resistance is:
Independent record-keeping
Distributed storytelling across many credible voices
Redundancy (no single source to silence)
When too many people quietly agree on whats real, control erodes.
________________________________________
3. Loyalty inversion
This chart collapses when:
Loyalty shifts from the person to shared norms
People comply procedurally but withdraw emotional buy-in
Obedience becomes literal, not interpretive
They depend on people knowing what I mean.
When people stop intuiting and start insisting on clarity, the system jams.
________________________________________
4. Forced visibility at the wrong moment
12th-house power survives in shadow.
Collapse accelerates when:
A crisis requires immediate, public decision-making
Delegation fails and the leader must own outcomes
Theres no intermediary to absorb blame
They are least effective when speed and transparency are required simultaneously.
________________________________________
5. Exit, not martyrdom
Historically, these leaders dont fall because people stand up to them.
They fall because the competent quietly leave.
Brain drain
Institutional decay
Loyalists promoted beyond ability
Systems hollowed out
The regime looks strong until it suddenly
isnt.
________________________________________
What doesnt work
Moral outrage alone
Heroic defiance without protection
Centralized opposition that can be crushed
Those feed the leaders persecution narrative.
________________________________________
The ending
For this chart, authoritarian control ends with:
Loss of legitimacy rather than violent overthrow
A credibility crisis, not a coup
A quiet removal for stability or health reasons
History rewritten by the leader as betrayal, not failure
Power drains away before it breaks.
How would you describe this person in two words?
Controlled duplicity.
