Updated, correction: service is Friday, the 26th.

His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, will travel to Charleston, S.C. tomorrow Friday Jun. 26, 2015, to attend the funeral of State Sen. Rev. Clementa Pinckney who was among the nine victims killed by a gunman last Wednesday inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.

I love the picture of them standing together.

I'm on an Orthodox discussion board, and though most people are good, we do have a few crackpots, who like to complain about Abp. Iakovos.

But I know what side I'm on.

They cut off my access to the Politics area of that site, so I don't run into the worst of super-weirdos anymore, but it can be a trial sometimes.
