What or Who is Your Final Authority?

As a Christian, what , or who, is your final authority on what you believe, your doctrines, etc?

Is it your culture, your pastor, your priest, your parents, the Bible, or something else?

And why?

1. The Great Spirit.

The Great Spirit is found everywhere throughout the land, sea, air and cosmos. The Great Spirit is the driving force for all things.

How/where do I find out about it?

2. The question "what kind of world do I want to live in?"

and the answer that creating it starts with me.

The final authority in your world view is yourself?

It's the effect my actions have on the rest of the world.

5. Ultimately, every person chooses to act as he/she wishes to act.

People can claim inspiration from one or many of sources, but we each must choose to take our actions.

6. The basic precepts of Christianity, revealed in the Bible new Testament,

"love your neighbor....", etc.... This book is a guide for my faith, actions, beliefs, not a literal law. My spiritual beliefs are my own, between me and the Creator, and do not require anyone mortal (pastor, preacher, elder, teacher, church family) to facilitate; there are very few teachers I have known in my life who have been helpful teachers of Christian faith, maybe less than 6. I do not teach, I only try to be the best person I can be. Private meditation only.
