What I wish Charlie Rose asked Mashaal
he is the head of Hamas.
I only saw a fraction of the interview on the CBS morning show yesterday.
When Rose asked him whether he would recognize Israel as a Jewish state, Mashaal said: NO.
So I wish that Rose would have asked him whether he would follow the example of Mosul, Iraq. This is where Christian Iraqis were given an ultimatum: convert, leave, or be killed.
Funny how so many, even on DU, object to the idea of a Jewish state, but have no problem with Lebanon, torn away from Syria following WWI to allow Arab Christians to be the majority. They have long lost this majority but the country still exists.
