(JEWISH GROUP) 2 arrested for defacing NYC playground used by Jews with dozens of swastikas
The NYPD on Thursday arrested two suspects in the antisemitic vandalism where swastikas were repeatedly sprayed in a playground in a Jewish area of Brooklyn.
The Boro Park Shomrim, a neighborhood watch group, and the local community board announced the two arrests.
The NYPD did not immediately confirm the arrests; information from police precincts sometimes takes time to arrive at the NYPD spokesperson’s unit.
The NYPD said 16 swastikas were found at the park on Tuesday, and another 57 on Wednesday.
