Jeremy Corbyn was member of private Facebook group which posted anti-Semitic / Holocaust denial...

Jeremy Corbyn* was a member of a private Facebook group in which members published dozens of anti-Semitic messages and holocaust denial theories, it emerged yesterday.

Labour last night confirmed it was investigating up to half a dozen party members for their involvement in the group, with Corbyn allies Clive Lewis and Chris Williamson identified as members of the group.

Messages published on Palestine Live include conspiracy theories about the Rothschild family, supposed Israeli involvement in the 9/11 attacks and links to material produced by neo-Nazi groups.

Other posts include links to articles written by conspiracy theorist David Icke and the leader of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke.

In one of the more disturbing posts, an image was posted of a pig with the words “Israel Lobby” branded on its side, which showed four politicians suckling from it

Member of a group does not mean he did it. Anyone can post anything to a group shenmue Mar 2018 #1
Secret groups can't be seen by the public. Only members know the group exists. grossproffit Mar 2018 #2

I am not. All those assholes who defended him, and will likely still defend him, will bray on how it was others who made the comments. Frankly, the only thing surprising his that he did it in a private group.

...however, he should have seen what was going on and at the very least flounced in disgust.

And his actions over a blatantly Anti Semitic mural in Tower Hamlets are absolutely dreadful. And that's before we get to the increasing volume of Anti Semitic rubbish regularly posted online by his cultish supporters.

The whole issue of Anti Semitism is dragging Labour down in a big way. Labour cannot credibly challenge bigotry of any kind without facing up to some uncomfortable truths about a lot of the people behind Jeremy Corbyn.
