Just so you know that anti-Semitism in British politics is not confined to supporters of Jeremy Corbyn. It's also increasingly prevalent on the anti-EU right wing.

Trump ally and Brexit leader Nigel Farage says there’s something Americans should worry about more than Russian meddling: Jews.

Farage in a Monday interview singled out the so-called “Jewish lobby” as an overwhelming power in America during a discussion about Russia’s interference in U.S. politics. “There are other very powerful lobbies in the United States of America, and the Jewish lobby, with its links with the Israeli government, is one of those strong voices,” Farage said on his London-based radio show.

Farage's remarks perpetuate popular and false narratives about a singular “Jewish lobby” operating within the United States and American Jews uniformly lobbying on behalf of Israel.

Jewish civil rights groups immediately condemned his comments. “Nigel Farage’s comments about the role of a powerful ‘Jewish lobby’ in America plays into deep-seated anti-Semitic tropes about supposed Jewish control of government,” Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt told Newsweek. “This is fuel for white supremacists who exploit and spread conspiracy theories about ‘evil, controlling Jews.’”

1. British politics is a fucking cesspool right now.

The "Jewish Lobby" shit is something we see on this side of the pond, but usually from the left! The right wing goes for the "Jews control everything!" angle. It amazes me how less than 1% of the world population supposedly controls the World. What is even more amazing is how many people swallow that shit, hook, line, and sinker, including so-called intellectuals who are self-described liberals and progressives. It pisses me off when people wonder how the Holocaust took place and act as if it was just one group who created the problem.

....when you have a political culture based heavily on blaming others. Something that Farage has played a major part in.

First they vilify Muslim's, then when they can't blame them anymore they turn on blacks, asians, eastern europeans, Jew's, gay's, catholics and so on.

British political culture goes out of it's way to look for scapegoats. And the people doing this often go out of their way to try and avoid responsibility. Which is a major part of why the project to leave the EU is such an unfettered disaster.

And again, that's been something Farage has been instrumental in causing.

4. Yes, it is, in every possible way

Antisemitism (both on far left and far right); Islamophobia; anti-immigrant bigotry; generational warfare (which is something that we used not to have too much of); and a lemming-like instinct to harm ourselves as much as possible (as I keep saying, we seem determined to become the first country in history to impose economic sanctions on itself).

With a weak but obstinate Prime Minister whose minority government is dependent on being propped up by a Christian-Right anti-Catholic and generally bigoted small party; a 'mirror-image-ist' (my term for those who think that anyone opposed to the American-led military alliances is automatically a sympathetic character themselves) as Leader of the Opposition; and the truly loony UKIP in the wings (a survey a few years ago showed that 50% of their supporter would never vote for a Jewish Prime Minister) and you have lot of very unpleasant creatures coming out of the woodwork.

At least we don't have Trump, and most Brits don't like him, but things have gone very wrong, especially with this Brexit nightmare.
