****Jewish Group*******: Neo-Nazi wins Republican primary in Missouri

https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article216387050.html

Original title: ‘Hitler was right’: KC area winner of Missouri House primary leaves trail of bigotry

August 9, 2018 4:35 PM

On his Monday morning radio show, Steve West promotes fanatical conspiracies about “Jewish cabals” that are “harvesting baby parts” through Planned Parenthood, that torture and molest children and that run the Republican Party.

On Tuesday he won the Republican primary for a Clay County seat in the Missouri House by nearly 25 points.

“Looking back in history, unfortunately, Hitler was right about what was taking place in Germany. And who was behind it,” West said on a show on KCXL radio on Jan. 23, 2017.

West won the 15th District nomination in a four-candidate race. Besides his radio show, he also has a YouTube channel and a website. Donning a wig and fake beard and calling himself Jack Justice, he has unleashed an array of bigotry including homophobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and outright racism.

As far as I can tell from the article, the MO Republican Party has condemned his remarks, but he is STILL a Republican. Why don't they kick him out ? Just sick and amazing. The Republicans can't play around with this BS, they need to kick these idiots out.

If he wins, I will lose faith in humans as well as our democratic process.

Four candidates. West would need 26% of the vote at the least to win.

About half of registered voters come out to vote, maybe a little less for primaries. That's 12% or less for West to win.

Missouri is an open primary state where Democrats and Republicans can cross party lines to vote. But I can't see a Democrat in MO crossing over to vote for a Nazi, even strategically. So divide the 12% by half, to West getting 6% of the vote.

If the other republican candidates (and the state party) doesn't support Steve West and the Democrats do a good job campaigning, Missouri (and the rest of the country) may dodge this potential danger.

one thing that Trump's winning has exposed is that most Republicans are bigots too.

Why would the Missouri Republican party kick out one of their own?

Leadership can denounce a candidate but they cannot deny registration and candidacy.
