but why is a Mechanical Engineer debating creationism? I am not sure what to think about the topic sentence. Was creationism ever a viable model for explaining the world? On the other hand how can you disprove a premise that ultimately can answer "Magic" to any question of inconsistency.

He believes the earth was created in six actual days. And he believes all the other silly stuff too.

There was no talking over the other individual. Ham is smooth I will give him that. I think Nye missed several opportunities, but I appreciate his efforts. Lets get Ken Miller, an astronomer, and a geologist next time against a Discovery Institute panel of YECs - they make for such easy targets. I want to hear from Ham's astronomer next time. I am still in shocked disbelief and waiting for an explanation on what the Hubble Deep Field means to him.

I also would like possibly a theologian to address the exceptional claims about the Christian bible Ham brought up. It would be good for the viewers to realize how this Bible came into being, how it compares to other sources from earlier cultures, and how, if it is so true, how it gets so much wrong (ordering the killing of babies for one, slavery is ok is another).

People who believe in gravity even if it’s only a theory will want to be aware that religion has issued a challenge to science and you have a front row seat right here at The Creation Museum.

A debate between Bill Nye the Science Guy and Ken Ham the And Then Eve Gave Adam An Apple Guy will be shown on the internet machine starting at 7:00 tonight Eastern Time. That’s 6:00 normal people time.

They promise it will be available on You Tube after the debate but warn …

Yes, the live stream is really 100% FREE of charge on debatelive.org as well as Google+ Hangouts On Air powered by YouTube, and will be available to re-watch on our YouTube channel immediately following the debate. (We are unsure how many days following the event the video will remain available on YouTube to re-watch.)

Well, isn’t that special? I know things on YouTube that have been there 6 years. Some maybe longer, but I know of some 6 year old ones personally.

I suspect how long it remains online depend on how much Bill Nye wins. Wink. Wink.

Join in and see it happen live!

Nye used arguments I've never even heard of! Awesome. I stopped watching during the Q&A though. I think Nye did an awesome job.
