Is it turtles all the way down?
The Many Worlds Interpretation is equally unsatisfying.
I think where humans go wrong is in our perception of time. That perception is hard-coded in our genes by at least half a billion years of evolution.
Quantum Physics isn't paying attention to time as we humans perceive it. Particles are interacting among themselves in the past, present, and future. Transactions between them are not settled as in human accounting.
