Pastor John Hagee has opinions about secular humanists

Via Friendly Atheist Blog
Secular Humanism has filled our rape crisis centers, our mental hospitals, our singles’ bars, our penitentiaries, our roster of guests for the brain-dead television talk shows, you see. America is becoming a Pagan society. We are in a moral free fall. When a school teacher cannot refer to the Ten Commandments but is approved of teaching the principles of witchcraft, our country is going in the wrong direction.

When the Boy Scouts of America are censored and penalized for refusing to accept homosexual scout leaders, we are a Pagan nation without shame… We have endorsed sodomy and called it an alternative lifestyle. It’s not an alternative lifestyle; it was, is, and always shall be an abomination unto the Lord.
As Hemant Mehta notes, citations may be needed for these claims.

I sincerely hope Pastor Hagee seeks intervention for his delusions.

The list of Abominations (unto Nuggan) is even more impressive
Chocolate
Garlic
Mushrooms
The colour blue
Babies
Crop rotation
Girls in men's clothing (whether the other way round is an Abomination, too, remains unknown)
Girls knowing how to write
Pictures of living things
Cats
Dwarfs
Barking dogs
Oysters
Shirts with six buttons
Cheese
Messages in the sky (Clacks and carrier pigeons) as prayers may bump into them
Rocks
Ears
Accordion players
Theatres and similar
The smell of beet
and babies, of course.

Now I have to research this one. I can see why I have never heard of Nuggan though....when babies are an abomination, your religion will die out pretty damned quick.

On edit: Oh, goody. A fake god.....like there aren't enough stupid gods in existence! Well, at least I don't have to worry about the Nuggan worshippers trying to take over the country. Or do I?

Has completely missed the point about gluttony being one of the 7 deadly sins;

Suits by Otis's Field Coverings and Tarpaulins.

And he runs this here used car dealership;

Has he ever READ that book he uses to condemn others so flippantly?

It's about time! We've suffered through religious bullshit for far too long.

But Pagans can have shame, John. One of those things is that we are ashamed, as a pagan nation, of our lingering old-school preachers who preach fire and brimstone to a too-frequently uneducated, gullible people.

But things will get better.

At least their fairy tales are entertaining.

The bible on the other hand is so freaking BORING >.<

Couldn't they have at least written some entertaining stories to base their myths on?

Hey, it's a wonderful racket preaching against sin. I notice the succesful evangelists pass on the racket to their sons. Billy Graham, Oral Roberts and Hagee all have groomed their sons in the way of fleecing the flock of ignorant believers. Can't be too tough doing god's work if they pass carrying the burden to their beloved sons.

If you watch Hagee for any length of time, you'll see him give that favorite catch-phrase.
That's how he pronounces "Glory" too - "Glow-ray"

Edit to say oops! I am being redundant on this thread!
