Most sects are atheist although local superstitions are tolerated, just considered unnecessary as one lets go of attachment.

It was creamy and garnished with olive oil in a depression surrounded by a sliced hard boiled egg, in the center of the round plate. Pita and a salad of cucumber, tomato and onion with vinegar and oil. There were spices too, garlic, cumin maybe? paprika.... Mmmmmmm...

Where were we? let's see.... lower east side Manhattan on those lettered streets.

Don't remember the name.... so long ago....
