"Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs" (Yay Lifetime!)

The Lifetime Movie Channel delivers again with its new movie "Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs."

Featuring Lifetime's usual entertaining mix of fact, sleaze, and in this case, general skeeviness in the story of Mormon prophet/child molester Warren Jeffs.

I think it just started showing this week, so you should be able to catch it pretty easily.

This one is a cut above most Lifetime movies, IMO. For one thing, it's based on Stephen Singular's excellent non-fiction book "When Men Become Gods."

For another, it has a solid cast including Tony Goldwyn, Molly Parker, David Keith and Certified National Treasure Martin Landau in a small part as original FLDS patriarch Rulon Jeffs.

Creepy dialogue:

Jeffs to a young girl: "Your mother says your monthly visitor has arrived. That means it's time."

Young girl in bed with Jeffs: "Yes, YES, I feel GOD, Uncle Warren!"

Yes, YES...better than James Joyce! YES!

I have called it a penis, an erection, Mr. Feel Good....but God?

This sounds like a really creeped out movie. Yikes.
