Dracula didn't try to convert as many mindless followers as possible. He had the three sisters, and he had Renfield. When Dracula arrives at England, he only converts one person, though he could have converted many more.

(367 posts)Anywhere else in my real non-forum life that I would go the typical response would be something about how the diagram is faulty because Jesus this or Jesus that. And not Frankenstein this Frankenstein that... so thank you!

That being said, there is some argument that the blind man revered him. It was only those that were shocked by the appearance of the creature that didn't revere him (which is certainly a sub-theme of the novel). Additionally, most of the townspeople didn't even know of the creature and the creature was bent on making the life of Dr. Frankenstein a living hell and not terrorizing the town. Unless we are solely talking about the film versions, then the townspeople hated him. Unless we are talking about Young Frankenstein, then there was some love/hate for him.
