for the pope and his homophobic bigotry consider even quoting their own words back to them to be "bullying" and a "personal attack". As far as quoting the pope, they consider that as sacrilegious as drawing Mo. Except of course when it suits them to fawn over his words (which in those cases are usually taken out of context..e.g. "Who am I to judge?&quot

Interesting that that hidden post cannot be read at all, as has always been possible before. It can't even be brought up, only read on the list as hidden. Hosts…has something changed in the way that hidden posts can be viewed?

Be interesting to see the jury results on that alert as well. In my experience, certain alerters are…shall we say…free and loose with the facts when they they alert on something.

My guess is that the alerter deliberately omitted the fact that the pope himself had used the phrase "breed like rabbits" in order to frame the alert properly for a low information jury. The "hide game" continues. And why not? The reward is getting your victim a banishment while the punishment is at worst a very short period of time where you can no longer alert. DU and disgustingist is all about the hide game.

"A Jury voted 4-2 to hide this post on Sat Feb 7" not that it matters but what happened to juror number 7?

Personally I'd just stay out of religion. It is toxic. They Toxic Two poison every discussion.

And yes...alerters frequently have to be disingenuous or worse to peddle their peanuts to a jury. I still would like to see posters get notified and informed of jury results EVERY time one of their posts gets alerted on, not just when one is hidden. If certain members knew that ALL of their alert trolling would be out there for people to see, I think we'd get a lot less of it. Turn on a bright light and a lot of things run for cover. Sunlight is the best disinfectant, as a SC justice once said. More transparency, not less.

It's a particularly relevant issue in A&A, since many religionist posters who are banned from here for disruption still alert troll the room (apparently having no other life).

put quotes around "breed like rabbits" and a link in the message to pope ticklesandhugsandslaps using the phrase himself about his "flock".

To be fair, the pope took some heat from his flock too.

"it gives consolation and hope to see so many numerous families who receive children as a real gift of God. They know that every child is a benediction."

That's sort of like a jury hide, do you think?

Even if they have to live in garbage dumps. All photos below from the Philippines. Where the majority religion by far is...well, I can't exactly remember right now. Probably some denomination of Fundamentalist Assholes, though.

if you put "as the Pope says;...."
I think the result would be different.

Don't make the mistake of assuming people know shit around here.
