Candace Cameron Bure: 'We have ability to love God' in America

Sorry that this is a Fox link

Candace Cameron Bure, “The View” co-host, is grateful she lives in the United States of America.

“We all have a vote,” she told FOX411. “I think that is why this country is so great because we all do have a voice here, and we have the chance for opportunity here. We have the ability to love God here. I don’t ever want to see that taken away from us. We have freedom here that is what makes America so great and that we have people that are willing to fight for that freedom on a daily basis.”

Bure feels lucky she was born in America.

I feel sorry for other countries that don't have the ability to love god.

means there is no reason to doubt the existence of a benevolent deity, never mind all those forest fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other disasters great and small. Gawd is looking out for Candace and all's right with the rest of the country because of that.

Eventually it'll dawn on her that her imaginary friend doesn't love her back.

Sure, Grandpa and Grandma were killed in the tornado, but the kitten survived.

It's a MIRACLE!

The Aleutians, during WWII come to mind. Technically not "US soil" at that time I suppose, and technically, the US wasn't at war when the attack on Pearl Harbor occurred.

But there is a large faction that want everyone to show homage to their god and no other.

And everything else! According to Sophisticated Theologian Sherri Shepherd on "The View." The same knucklehead who wasn't quite sure if the world was round:

THE new co-host of “The View,” Sherri Shepherd, yesterday insisted Christianity was older than ancient Greece, and even Judaism.

Shepherd – who said earlier this year that she didn’t know if the world was flat or round – said during a short-lived discussion of Greek philosophy on yesterday’s show that she was pretty sure nothing “predated Christians.”
