We are cooking in S. CA and this is bad getting worse.

CA has had extremely high temps (82 in San Diego and LA) and little to no rain during our normally "rainy season". The temps have been 10-15 degrees above normal for over 4 weeks and considering the wild fires last fall this is very bad news. I am so glad that Climate Change is a hoax and it is OK for the fucking moron to keep scientists and researchers from sharing info.

This time last year, we were more than up to our eyeballs in snow...Even when we did get it earlier this season, the level was more like 7000'-7500' instead of 6000'-6500'. so yes, even when we get hi, it's defnitely shifted over the past decade.
Usually I am a bitch when it comes to hating the snow, but this is downright strange. Lived here 25 years, never seen the likes of this.

On a positive note, "usually" I call February our "false spring" and then March comes in roaring like a Lion. So I am staying hopeful.

But yes, this whole climate change thing is just a hoax, don't forget.

I'm not going to lie and say I want snow because I am LOVING this winter!! So you know it has to be mild for me to say I love winter. Temps have been 50s, 60s with a few cold snaps that were very cold. But really no snow. We've had a few rain storms which is very weird for winter in Colorado.

There is a local guy who does weather forecasts for some radio stations but posts on FB a 4 county area (one in which I live). He said he hasn't seen a winter dominated by a high pressure like this one here in Colorado.

I'll enjoy it for now. Because when we have winters like this, Colorado winter ushers in around March/April and stays with big, wet heavy snows till the end of May.

We zoomed through winter and right into spring. Our trees are budding and our jasmine is blooming.

I am sitting on the patio eating lunch soaking up some rays

10 degrees or more above average. And like most in the Southwest, the Winter Rainy Season is about done,we have only receive 1 1/2 inches and should be about double. When Death Valley has received more rain, almost triple, what we received here in Vegas, you know all you need to know about Climate Change.

Long range forcast shows no rain until April with temps being 10-15 degrees above average. Last summer on two days,we had record mega temps.. Our four Thermomitors recorded 127 on July 7 and 27.

prepping for first BeerBCue right now! We had snow on Xmas eve which was nice, instantly melted. We've had rain most of Jan but mild temps. Plants are waking up fast here, seems earlier every year.

Rainfall is normally scant, maybe a total of 3 inches during our brief rainy season which ends in April. The only rain we've had so far was less than an inch last month.
