Related: About this forum"Soft ball sized hail" in Colorado Springs this afternoon. Can anyone check in for report?
Sixteen people were treated at the hospital and some animals at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo were killed, although zoo officials think there may be more. They are still checking on the animals.

We've experienced hail here in New York, but nothing like this! Not only did it kill the birds, but so many people were injured! And it affected a much wider area than just the zoo!
