Flash floods in NY, NYC, NJ, PA

3" of rain in Central Park in 1 hour. Subways, airports flooding and subways closed in Phila and NY.

Flooding is bad here. Thankfully all of family is home safe. All schools closed tomorrow.

we never saw anything close to this. There was a tornado once in the late 70s but that was nothing like tonight's weather.

Schools closed when it isn't snowing and they just reopened...crazy.

Basement of the house I grew up in is probably flooded to the windows. If so, two furnaces are ruined. Episcopal Church on Main Street is probably flooded as is Shop Rite supermarket.

We're seeing the results of Climate Change warnings from the last 30+ years that went ignored for the most part. The scientists were right...go figure.

I'm 78..... lived here all my life. I don't recall hearing about a tornado in N.J. until about 15 years ago. Now, maybe 10 per year. Not serious ones yet, but still.

and there was one in the late 70s and I heard of one in the 90s in Center City but that was it. The Climate Change we've been hearing about is here and now. I never imagined this while I was growing up.
