1. we arent supposed to get tornadoes in chicago. but

in the last 10 yrs, there has been 2 derechos and a tornado.
i'm less than a mile from the lake. the 1st one missed up, but the other 2 ran right through my hood.
these storms developed over the lake, as opposed to the tornado alley not far into the burbs. those never came close.
i grew up out that way, and i never heard of a tornado in chicago.

i did get to watch the 1st one blow up. i was on the 20th floor on mich ave, and watched it form over millennium park, and the bean.
it was awesome. but the ride home on the train was pretty sad. must have seen 100 big trees downed.

2. Gee, too bad we weren't warned about Climate Change for

the past 30+ years. Those scientists don't know anything, just look at Covid.
