1. NYC - in the 40s

This is unseasonably warm. I saw a cherry tree starting to bloom yesterday. This morning I saw an Iris and some lilies in bloom. The plants are confused by the unseasonable warmth.

14. You say 45 is balmy, I say it's really cold!

It was 43 at 7am in Jax. FL. I wore a long sleeved shirt, a long flannel jacket lined with fleece, a cloth hat and gloves - not balmy to me at all. I will walk in any weather but a hard rain so this was easy today. Yesterday was so windy, it was 6 degrees colder today but felt so much warmer.
