(2,848 posts)We're deep into it now... I've caught a few fleeting glimpses of it since it began the umbra phase, but that's about it. The rest has been heavy clouds rolling across the sky. Drat....! Never fails!!!!

(367 posts)Out till 3:15 AM Great Blood moon. Clouds low over the Sierras. Orion, Mars, Taurus the Bull, Pleiades and Uranus.
Will process images later today. 37F with slight wind---glad for hot chocolate. Really magical night!!!
