I'm doing my best to be upbeat. I think we'll win back the Senate in 2016 as well as POTUS. House, meh, will take a while to take back it seems.

Hell, I am still bummed that so much promise of the last 2 elections has not come to fruition.

As for how to handle it, I am lucky in that life does not require me to get out of my warm robe and slippers for days at a time.

I don't even own a bathrobe. I always figured there were bad habits to get into that would make me even more depressed and being an old lady who lives in a bathrobe was one. Being an old lady living in sweats was another, don't own those, either.

I was really hoping the Tortoise would go back to the slime that produced him, but Grimes ran a stupid campaign. She must have had the best DLC handlers money could buy.

My mother said she didn't care which gang of thieves got in. Now that the USSC is so important, I have to care.

However, I will continue to make money no matter which gang of thieves gets in. I will simply make more money with Democrats in power.

I guess I'm coping well, even though I'm developing a healthy contempt for most of my fellow citizens. Good thing I'm an introvert. An extroverted misanthrope would be unpleasant.
