Yoshimura now makes very popular performance exhaust systems for the bikes, even Yamahas (which weren't mentioned in the clip). The Cub had a three speed transmission that was foot operated, there was no clutch lever because it used a centrifugal clutch. I started riding on a Cub, which is actually a motorcycle and not a moped or scooter.

As a side note, people will mistakenly call a scooter a moped. A moped has pedals and the word moped is a combination of the words motor and pedal; you pedal one to get it moving. A motorcycle has gears, scooters don't have pedals or gears. Now that things are up to speed you can go to the motorcycle group (no one posts there, so you won't be labeled a scooter-hater for something said in the video! -you do know I'm making a joke?)
