Taiwanese pop star Show Luo loses 40,000 Facebook fans after declaring 'we are all Chinese'
Yet another Taiwanese entertainer has stirred up cross-strait controversy after a video was posted online over the weekend starring pop star Show Luo saying to a mainland audience that "we are all Chinese."
The video is from a Beijing movie premiere that the singer, dancer and actor attended last Thursday. On stage, Luo is asked by one audience member how he felt about collaborating with different stars from the mainland on the film.
"There's no need for such division, we're all Chinese," Luo says to rackous applause from the theater:

However, Luo's remark hasn't been quite so well-received back in Taiwan after the video was posted on the Facebook group Anti-Show Luo Fans. Since Sunday, Luo has lost more than 40,000 Facebook fans. However, he has managed to offset those losses by picking up over 50,000 followers on Weibo.
