The earthquakes and tsunamis, both recent and 5 years ago, were horrific events that nobody should have to experience. When I saw the clip of the wave of ocean water traveling upstream, it gave me a chill (honestly, my entire body went cold).

I was very favorably impressed with the simultaneous translation and the great amount of factual information NHK broadcast. If it were an American news network, it no doubt would have had idiot pundits talking about what the Republican and Democratic opinions of the ordeal were, followed by pointless arguing and constant interruptions.
