Jo Yong Pil, is alive and kicking, expresses my feelings for her. She was more of a Jerry Garcia fan, a philosopher, a scholar concerning western Europe and a citizen of the world. She encouraged my Korean studies, and was an inspiration to many others. She was unique and will be sorely missed by her progressive friends.
