Do You Like Brahms? Ep 2 Kdrama trailer

he talented pianist plays Schumann’s Traumerei 1 last time [Do You Like Brahms? Ep 2]

Interesting drama available on viki.com. There is a pay wall. No zombies, no serial killers, no time machines or ghosts. The characters, setting and music are engaging.

on kdramas in the early days of covid stay-in-place..but after months of almost non-stop binge watching I was no longer "hooked", I was bored...they are all the same with the exception of Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Hospital Playlist, Stranger, and Because This is My First Life, Something in the Rain...as for Do You Like Brahams?.. I liked the music and downloaded the music to my iPhone...

I've been watching for almost five years. I'm not sure that I've seen any that you mentioned which doesn't mean anything because there are hundreds. I am making a note of the ones you mentioned.

There is a certain predictability to the family oriented dramas, poor girl meets rich chaebol heir, the parents don't like her, or orphaned child is chaebol heir, etc. Even so, I enjoyed some of them because they reflected cultural values somewhat distinct from those here in the US. Anyway I started watching as part of a language immersion strategy.

It's been more difficult recently to find quality kdramas as the story lines are sinking into absurd magical plots, violence, and fantasies to distinguish themselves from the pack. I find this similar to a trend in the US that caused me to stop watching US entertainment media two decades ago.

In any case, the historical genre is impressive to me. Empress Ki, Six Flying Dragons, Queen Seondok, Haechi, Hwang Jini, Nokdu Flower, and Different Dream were some I enjoyed. Necessarily, the plots and characters are fictionalized, romanticized etc. There is a new one, Mister Sunshine, that I would like to see but it is only carried on netflix.

it is the funniest detective movie ever...in fact, prior to this pandemic, three countries were in the process of remaking it for their audiences..
