This thread will be introducing first episodes of some of the great Anime series from Japan. You can watch them and chose whether or not you would like to find them and watch further. Anime has become so popular over the years, and some of these have become classic by fan standards. Here are the first four. Enjoy!

8. Sometimes YouTube does not have what one is looking for

Sometimes YouTube removes videos that one had previously found (like the old Alvin Show clips )

I was kind of hoping that you, as an "anime no hakase", might be able to provide some information about other sources. I am specifically looking for episodes from the old series, with this opening:

I know not everyone likes streaming site but Hulu and Crunchy roll have a large collection of animes you can watch entire seasons for free...and legally

I wish they had Ranma 1/2 on there too, but probably thats for the best. The first few episodes of that show are very slow and don't translate well from the comic to the manga.
