It's time someone tossed this into the discussion:
This is wrong and every Democratic should be outraged because this is the kind of attack that not only undermines core Democratic values, but gives aid and comfort to the very special interests and their allies in the Republican Party who are against doing what we want to do for America.
Anyone care to second this sentiment, or refute it?

(11,197 posts)convictions are only skin deep, like 'Opinion du Jour'. That's exactly why they are completely dumbfounded over how to deal with someone like Sanders who has had the same political convictions over a long period of time.

(505 posts)They think we don't know the difference. Even more unfortunate that in many cases they assume correctly - many Americans don't know the difference and will continue to vote against their best intrests.

Health care will cost a lot more than that. Most people will still save money, and the money they do pay would be via taxes rather than insurance premiums to private companies. But still -- it really will be a lot more than $1.75 per paycheck.

(11,197 posts)the $1.75 was FMLA; my mistake. The net result is a huge reduction in the cost of medical care though.
