2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWas 1 foot away from Pres. Obama!!!!!!!!!
I just attended the University of Miami and Univision event with Pres. Obama and I got to sit in the 2nd row (I had received a special ticket due to my involvement with the Young Democrats Club at UM) and it was amazing being so close to him!!
He only shook hands with students/attendees in the first row so I missed him by a row haha
I had an amazing time and the crowd was heavily involved with the whole event- people would spontaneously clap for the President after each answer, even though they had given us instructions not to!
The President eloquently answered each question and you could just see how he connects with the common man
This was an experience that I will never forget!

The closest I ever got was meeting Kitty Dukakis as a volunteer at a nearby fund raiser. But I am dating myself
