my a-political hubby (who loves teasing me that he is voting tRump) said he thought

Hillary would make a good president.

This surprised me because he usually doesn't have much of an opinion truly on politics. He teases me that he is voting for tRump but he does it to get a rise out of me for fun.

I asked him why and he said they came at her with all kinds of bullshit at that hearing and she handled them great.

1. But if he doesn't have an opinion on politics, it means he doesn't know much about

The vast majority of Americans pretty much ignore politics for their own reasons. I think her husband is a good example of a typical American in this context.

he has said a few times when I am watching Lawrence or Chris or Rachael that tRump is an asshole

I was quite surprised at his Hillary comment though.

2. So it doesn't matter to him that she blatently lies in front of those she's lying about.

She was called on it a few times tonight.
The other thing is that even though I am comfortable now. Millions are not, it would get exponentially worse with her as POTUS. I'm convinced that if she gets the nomination we ARE electing tRump. She loses to him by a mile in every poll.

6. I can't figure that out. I don't know if it's wishful thinking on their part.

I have to tell you. It is the single most frightening thing about them. I liken it to children covering their ears saying la la la la while their parents are reading them the riot act. The republicans WILL show up en mass to vote against her, I think they hate her more than they hate POTUS. And that IS saying something.
