How about a thread where we can brag about our work for the Dems?

I've been a loafing this year b/c I was taking care of my dad in his final days.

Yesterday, I got an email -- "did you visit the houses on your list with registration and absentee ballot info?" I had a damn good excuse why I didn't, but I thought "I spend a lot of time posting on DU, how about walkin the walk in addition to talkin the talk?"

Only spent about 2 hours, but got a few new voters registered, and one or two absentees. Got poll location and time information to a few other Dems.

I'm sure 90% of the posters on DU could top me in terms of what they've done recently to get our President re-elected!

Some days we call in Maryland, some days we call in Virginia. Last Wednesday, we made 300 calls.

Fired up, ready to go.

after a family crisis. Knowing she was a Dem, I told her: "To quote our President, I'm fired up and ready to go"
