We don't need Missouri and Obama did not win it in 2008 anyway. But we really need that Senate seat. Jennicut Sep 2012 #11

Incumbent Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill holds a narrow 45%-38% lead over Republican challenger Todd Akin.

I don't call that narrow.

If MO is in the single digits. This means he is losing in Virginia and Ohio.

We now have 2 very interesting polls tonight.

Tenn. Romney+7
MO. Romney +6

I'll throw in another poll from Indiana earlier this week.

IN. Romney +6

Romney is running way behind where he should be. And Obama is nearing his 2008 level of support. Obama lost MO by 1 point in 2008. Clearly if these numbers hold, he would lose MO by a similar margin in 2012, if his campaign chose to contest it again.

Read a Wikipedia page on them that says some of their past and maybe present CEOs have run as Conservative MP candidates in the UK.

Seems like a fairly small sampling of voters. I wonder if they called anyone in the northern half of the state, or in the cities?

And their support for all things Republican, regardless of merit, continues to astound me to this day.

liberal, don't know about the reliability of this poll, I don't think it sounds right, but we have 3 blue dots(St. Louis, Columbia, KC) in a sea of red. Most people in this state are bumfuck hillbillies who like their guns, god, and meth.

Especially with the anti-Akin coattails driving more Obama supporters to the polls.

So any polling that is good for McCaskill is good news.
